The project covers 45 acres of land comprising of 252 agricultural and 438 non agricultural houses. It also incorporates school, industrial training institutes, health care facility, gram panchayat office, post office, veterinary hospital, crematorium and other facilities.
The rehab is a sensitive issue in a developing country like India, concerning the livelihood of the affected. The design of the independent houses, takes into account the lifestyle of the villagers and intends to upgrade the same.
The use of load bearing stone chip faced blocks is an attempt to provide an earthen look. The design also revolves around architecture of simplicity and low growth, friendly to village life.
